Lyme disease forum

Rep. Frank Wolf (R-10th) will host a forum about ticks and Lyme disease at the Loudoun County School Board office Aug. 5. The free event will begin at 7 p.m. and was organized because of a rise in the number of Lyme disease cases throughout the region.

Other speakers will include David Goodfriend, director of the Loudoun County Health Department; Jorge Arias of the Fairfax County Health Department; and Samuel Shor, an associate clinical professor at George Washington University.

Wolf represents the 10th Congressional District, which includes western Fairfax County and stretches into the Shenandoah Valley.
