MCA opposes task force plan
A McLean Citizens Association committee adopted a resolution opposing the recommendations of the Tysons Land Use Task Force. MCA's Tysons Corner Liaison Committee said that the Planning Commission should approve less density and tie growth to triggers, such as infrastructure construction.
The resolution also says the higher density should only be clustered within 1,600 feet of the planned Metro stations in Tysons, and the committee opposes creation of a Tysons development authority to guide redevelopment.
