Esteemed theologian to speak in Herndon

The Anglican District of Virginia will celebrate its second annual Synod Council meeting on Sept. 26 and 27. The meeting, which will be held at Church of the Epiphany in Herndon, will center on the theme of “Making Disciples” and will include a keynote address by theologian Dr. J.I. Packer, author of the book "Knowing God," on the morning of Saturday, Sept. 27.

Dr. Packer’s address, which is free and open to the public, will begin at 9:45 a.m. Church of the Epiphany is located at 3301 Hidden Meadow Drive in Herndon.
