Music Man Tom Saputo Coming To McLean!

Legendary musician Tom Saputo who has been performing in the Washington D.C. area for over 30 years, is bringing his "open mic" show to Mclean VA at the Corkie's restaurant located at 6238 Old Dominion Dr, McLean, VA 22101.

Tom Saputo started performing as a 8 year old in the local schools in battle of the bands contest and local dances. He then moved into military base parties and local dances. His first nightclub gig was at a Jolly Ox in Alexandria (in 1973) and has since played thousands of clubs, hotels and private parties.

Now, Tom host the most successful " open mic" events in the area. Every night, some of the best area singers (and dancers) come in and perform with Tom Saputo.

"You wouldn't believe the high level quality these singers display. Most of them are on a professional level. The average customer cannot believe what they are witnessing!" says Saputo.

And along with the singing, people are encouraged to dance. Tom attracts dance students and instructors as well.

Corkie's is owned by Rohit Kapour and has known Tom since hiring him at his previous establishment ( Squire Rockwell's) where Tom still performs on Thursdays and Fridays.

Tom and his talented friends will come to Corkie's this Saturday for the first time. October 27th at 7:30. Call (703) 533-5880 for more info and directions.
